Smoky Oud

Warm, boozy, tobacco, slightly smoky with sweet vanilla woody tones, absolutely sexy in the best way possible. This is a scent for someone comfortable in their own skin, confident in the way they’re dressed and directed in their life choices. Just gives me that that kind of vibe, like you got your shit together and don’t really give 2 F’s about what anyone else might think because you’re confident in your own abilities. I absolutely love this scent, pretty much wear it whenever the hell I feel like but definitely get at least semi dressed up when I wear it. Definitely masculine energy in the best way possible, not overbearing but seriously makes it presence felt. Another one I definitely appreciate from my go to Indie House and would categorically suggest you try if you’re into that sexy tobacco style!! I don’t compare them to the OG for the most part and just form an opinion based on what I think of the scent itself and I love what Y&L did here!
On a side note, I have had a lot of experience with Y&L at this point and after extensive testing, I kind of figured out the rhythm on how to get the most out of these 🔥 offerings from them. I do spray them upon receiving them, get some on skin, some on tester strips, then put them in the fridge for 5 days. After that, I pull them out and put them away to sit for 2 weeks minimum and 6 weeks optimally. I’m patient. Utilizing this process, they have gotten so much better, caveat with “in my personal experience.” Think I’m around 60 full presentations with them and all of them have gotten so much better doing that. I was checking them once a week when I first started until I got to this point. You should see how much Gladiator has darkened and strengthened in the time I’ve had it 🔥French Defense was one of my first purchases and that one…Good Lord Almighty do I love that one! Just a hopefully helpful tip that may assist you on your own fragrance journey 👊

I haven't smelled the original, but with this I don't think I need to. This is a very smokey and masculine fragrance, perfect for cooler evenings or sophisticated events.

Man I bought this fragrance because I really like Tom Ford tobacco oud & imma tell they didn't disappoint me with Smoky oud this fragrance is a must have for men.. another great fragrance is Basic instinct from yom & layl.. I'm gonna have to try some more of the fragrances

I was very pleased with my purchase of smoky oud, I have shared my experience with a group of my friends too... basic instinct was by far my favorite.. Aqua marine was my least liked fragrance.. I'm lookin forward to buying a full bottle of basic instinct & more.. I appreciate the 10ml sample as well but everyone has baccarat 540.. Again thank you Yom & layl
