Are you selling real designer/niche brand fragrances?

No, all our fragrances are original scents. We create blends inspired by iconic brands, maintaining high standards of quality to offer affordable alternatives to luxury perfumes. All names are property of their respective owners and are only used for comparison purposes. We are in no way affiliated with the mentioned brands.

Our mission is to offer our customers an affordable alternative to their favorite designer perfumes without compromising on excellence. Every fragrance we create is an original scent, carefully curated using ingredients sourced from around the globe.

Are these fragrances long lasting?

Absolutely! Our fragrances are meticulously formulated to ensure prolonged staying power, akin to designer fragrances. In fact, in some instances, our scents even surpass the longevity of their counterparts, depending on their unique composition.

What are the concentration of the fragrances?

All of our fragrances are Extrait de Parfum for reference of the concentration see the chart below.

After shave: 1-3% Aromatic Compounds
Eau de Cologne: 2-6% Aromatic Compounds
Eau de Toilette: 5-15% Aromatic Compounds
Eau de Parfum: 10-20% Aromatic Compounds
Extrait De Parfum: 30-40% Aromatic Componds

Are your fragrances oil-based?

Yes, all our fragrances are oil-based. We carefully formulate each scent with a fragrance oil concentration ranging from 30% to 40%, depending on the specific aroma.

What if I can't find the fragrance I'm looking for? Do you make discontinued fragrances or can I request a custom scent?

Absolutely! We specialize in creating bespoke fragrances tailored to your preferences. If you're searching for a discontinued scent or have a specific fragrance in mind, we're here to help. Please note that we typically accommodate requests for fragrances valued at $200 and above in the market. For custom requests or inquiries about discontinued scents, please reach out to us at support@yomlayl.com.

Why is refrigeration recommended for your fragrances?

At Yom & Layl Perfume Bar, we take pride in handcrafting each order and bottling our fragrances fresh for you. We recommend storing your newly received scent in the fridge for one week to allow it to develop its full potential. However, you can certainly use your fragrance immediately upon receipt if desired.
Refrigeration is recommended because our fragrances benefit from a period of maceration and maturation. This process allows the different components of the fragrance to blend and develop, enhancing its depth, longevity and complexity over time. By refrigerating your fragrance, you can help preserve its freshness and ensure that it reaches its full potential when you're ready to indulge in its captivating aroma.

Can I customize the color of my fragrance?

Yes, you can! Simply specify the color you'd like along with the fragrance name in the order notes during checkout, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request. However, please note that while we strive to match your desired color as closely as possible, it may not always be feasible due to the base color of the ingredients. Rest assured, we'll make every effort to create the closest match possible.

Can I get a free 2ml sample of my choice with myorder?

Absolutely! Simply mention the name of the fragrance you'd like to receive as a free 2ml sample in the notes section during checkout. We'll make sure to include it with your order for you to try.

Do you offer refills for fragrance bottles?

Yes, we do offer refills for 30ml/1.0 fl. oz bottles exclusively at our retail location. To ensure a smooth refill process, please remember to bring along your receipt as proof of purchase. It's important to note that we only refill bottles with the same fragrance originally purchased. We do not offer refill services for bottles from other brands or fragrances. Thank you for your understanding.

Shipping & Returns

How long does it take to process orders?

We typically require 3-5 business days to process all orders, regardless of the chosen shipping option during checkout.

What days do you dispatch orders?

Orders are dispatched Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays. Please note that same-day shipping is not guaranteed.

Where do you currently ship?

We currently provide shipping only in the United States.

Can I change my shipping address?

If you have made a mistake entering your shipping address, email us at support@yomlayl.com as soon as possible and we will be happy to assist you. Please ensure to include your order number and your updated address.

How long does shipping & delivery take?

We ship all order via USPS. Processing your order typically takes 3-5 business days. Once shipped, delivery generally ranges from 2-5 business days.

Can I return my fragrance If I don't like It?

We are pleased to accommodate returns and exchanges within 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange. Returned items must be unused and contain at least 95% of the original liquid. Additionally, they must be in their original packaging to be eligible for return.
