Oud Zayn

Smells outstanding!!

Firstly, this fragrance is a 5 star fragrance in its own right, predominantly because of the quality Vs price proposition, representing exceptional value for money.

This is a close take on the original, there are distinct differences upon opening as a result of more prominent citrus notes (especially the ginger, which really sticks out, very pointed) but these evaporate off within the first half an hour. What you are left with after half an hour is a fragrance which is 95% close to the original i.e. you need to try really hard to pick out the subtle differences between the two. To a lamen, these are identical after the first 30 mins.
The oud in the OG is more prominent, likely due to a higher concentration being used, that's about it. Both fragrances are strong projectors and incredibly long lasting, absolutely no concerns around performance.

If you're budget constrained, this is a no brainer, the og is redundant.

Very surprised. Actually floored by how accurately close (practically the identical) Oud Zayn is to Oud Zarian. I own Oud Zarian and love it. Therefore, I was curious how Yom & Layl would add up. I was hoping that the two would be in the same ball park or at least the same zip code in terms of similar scent profiles. I was not expecting that they would be essentially fraternal twins of each other. The bottle is gorgeous. Really sophisticated. Atomizer is wonderful. Fragrance itself is simply sexy. It is a rich, woody, and spicy fragrance that gives a complex and deep velvety experience. Excellent performance. Only need one spray on you and someone can smell it at a distance. I tested it out because I am going to do a review on my TikTok. Oud Zayn has completely seduced me. The way the licorice, frankincense, Oud, ginger and sandalwood are blended makes me wonder if Yom and Layl has special insights into the exact ratio of ingredients being used in Oud Zarian. Bottomline, I highly recommend this fragrance.

this is very close to Oud Zarian. I only gave it 4 stars because the dry down does not change much from the mid. Oud Zarian’s dry down is less spicy than its opening, this is a bit more linear. That being said, Y&L fragrances need time to maturate so this will most likely change eventually. Great interpretation!
