Nile's Essence

Let’s start with how much I appreciate the value and craftsmanship of Y&L. This is one of my favorite summer scents, lime and mint are clearly in the opening, it has a citric and green mix that is super vibrant and refreshing. Then you get white florals anchored by that clean musk as it starts to dry down, a super easy and very pleasant spring and summer scent that stays unisex. Super fresh and clean smell that has a lot more weight than I expected. It’s not a room filler but you’ll leave a trail and on me pushes out to about arms length in a bubble of bright freshness, which I definitely appreciate in an office setting or in a crowded environment. You will get noticed in a positive way, nothing really polarizing or offensive in this one at all. I really can’t see anyone disliking this one, based on my personal experience so far at least, it’s just an all around great scent that has presence without being pushy. It has a bit of sweetness but nothing overdone and presents as a classy, fresh and clean scent that I love in high heat. Very versatile scent and very easy to wear.

This smells exactly like the MFK but more richer and deeper

I own the original MFK Aqua Celestia Forte and this is about 95% close to the original. This one smells more fresh with the opening but the dry down is pretty much the same. I’m going to let it macerate a bit to see if it changes and I’m sure once it does get a chance to macerate the notes will be more profound. This one is worth the buy. Yom and layl continues to amaze me with their fragrances. I purchased 3 full size bottles and all three have been amazing with crazy projection and sillage. Once you let it macerate for a bit I don’t doubt that it will be more amazing than it already is. Already have a few more fragrances lined up for purchase. I’m hooked!

**Update** I let it macerate in my fridge for 3 days and it made such a significant difference!!! Smells exactly like the original. I can’t tell the difference. This one seems a little more potent and I’m super impressed! I paid more than $200 for the original for 70 ml and this one was less than a $100 for 100ml!!!!! I found my new favorite fragrance house!!!
