Y&L got one another of my favorite scents right, they seem to have an insane ability to do that. The issue with the OG has been performance to price point for me, it tends to need reapplication periodically, (BDC EDT is actually why I started carrying decants in an aluminum bodied with a glass bottle inner 8ml travel sprayer) but it does remain one of my favorite scents for anytime wear in general but shines in a warmer spring and definitely summer weather. It’s still super classy, masculine, clean and mass appealing. I have only had the Y&L version for about 2 weeks so it has not had a ton of time to mature yet but after refrigeration for 5 days and then a week of sitting there all pretty like with all his little friends, I’m already impressed. Citric, aromatic, slightly spicy and a touch floral surrounded by clean and fresh woods, there is nothing about this scent that anyone could find offensive. Extremely versatile and one of my blind reach scents that gets a lot of skin time still and I have a smaller collection of around 400 colognes, this would still be one that’s in my top 20. If I could only have 1 BDC, it would be the EDP only because it falls exactly between the EDT and Parfum and would remain the most versatile because of that. I do truly love the EDT version too though. I will likely reach for this version now over the OG based on how it’s performing in my limited testing. At this price point, I’m not going to be complaining even if it performs exactly the same, but it does seem to be performing better as of this writing and I’ll update my review after it has time to mature. Straight out of the bottle, it’s not a slouch, don’t misunderstand, it is perfectly performing to what I have come to expect and been experiencing with all of my Y&L scents! If you are a BDC fan, which I still am, they nailed this and you can buy this inspiration with confidence! Another satisfying purchase from this 🔥ass house!

I would say about 85% similar to the EDP. It has that DNA but a twist on it that I can't exactly pin point. Not bad for value.
