I bought a 10 ml sample!

Dior homme (iris versions) is my favorite fragrance line up. I was sad to see the reformulation of the Parfum. Although the Parfum isn't my favorite, it definitely has a place in my all time favorites.
I was excited to see that Yom & Layl release their version of Parfum. I was going to jump right on a full bottle of it but I decided to test it out first, because I didn't want to be let down. Also, I heard alexandria has a really good version of it which I plan on testing as well.
Yom & Layl did a great job with their version. I have a bottle of the Parfum and I tested them side by side. It is not a 1 to 1 however Yom & Layl made a great version of it. I am truely impressed. Diors Homme Parum seems a bit stronger and has a more powerful iris take. However Hombre Parfum is pretty damn good. It's about 85% close.
Hombre is very classy 👏 and to be honest, I think it is easier to wear than Dior Parfum. You still get that beautiful iris note and the leather. I could definitely see myself buying a full bottle however I want the closes version I can find and im notbsure if this is it. Nothing against Yom & Layl, its just what im searching for. Now if this is the closes version then I would be happy to preserve my Parfum and use this to scratch my itch lol
I do recommend this fragrance absolutely. This is a great fragrance! This is definitely better than the 2025 Parfum. Definitely get this over the new crap.

I’m actually a huge fan of Dior Homme Parfum myself, so creating Hombre Parfum was truly a passion project. I totally get what you’re saying, it’s such a unique fragrance, and that rich iris note is hard to beat. I tried to stay true to the DNA while making something wearable and refined in its own right.

Since all of our fragrances are handcrafted and blended fresh, I’d recommend putting your bottle in the fridge for 4 to 5 days to let it macerate a bit. This will allow the fragrance molecules to bond and stabilize, enhancing the clarity and depth of key notes—particularly the leather and iris accords.

I totally respect your fragrance journey, finding the closest match to the original is part of the fun (and the struggle 😅).
